The sketch was made at the beginning of Sept. 1926, at an altitude of about 6800 ft. when a recent snowfall had almost disappeared. Hungabee has an altitude of 11,447 ft. The name is a Stoney Indian word for "Chieftain", signifying surprise or commanding. The depression on the right is OPHABIN PASS & at the right side MT.
