— Palm Sunday, serves as evidence as to the importance of the contribution to the canon of Canadian art by Tom Forrestall throughout the six decades he has been dedicated full time to painting. His career has been celebrated and collected by museums across Canada, and a Retrospective exhibition held at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in 2010.
Categorised as a Magic Realist, Tom Forestall’s paintings reflect a singular vision, one formed primarily by his Atlantic Canada, his family, and the spirituality of both his upbringing and that of the household of Tom and his now late wife Natalie (née LeBlanc).
From the mid 1960s until the early 1970s, Walter Klinkhoff Gallery was honoured to represent Tom Forrestall.
