There are few locations in North America steeped in richer history than Quebec City around the Chateau Frontenac. Dufferin Terrace, the St Lawrence River, The Citadel, home of the Royal 22nd Regiment atop Cap Diamant, and the Plains of Abraham combine for chapters in our collective past.
Compositionally, Little has juxtaposed what might traditionally be a street with the boardwalk. And unusually he has captured this scene in summer and in the evening’s light.
