Private collection, Quebec City.This artist was a member of “The Society of Canadian Artists” in 1870. This Society was founded in Montreal in 1867. Grant lived in Montreal the greater part of his time, but in several Catalogues his address is given as Quebec. His name was listed among the Associates of the Royal Canadian Academy in the Catalogues of 1880 and 1881. He was a frequent exhibitor at the “Art Association of Montreal”, showing in the years 1870, 1879, 1880, 1885, 1887, 1888, 1895, 1898, 1903. He also exhibited at the Royal Canadian Academy in 1893. -
