Overwhelming enthusiasm for an outstanding selection of new paintings by Quebec City-based artist Claude A. Simard, R.C.A. resulted in a remarkable sell-out show. Simard’s paintings were essentially of five different themes: The garden, migrations, interior scenes, travel, and the winter. In an uncertain economic climate, the quality of available paintings, combined with the response of the large and discerning crowd signals a growing interest in Simard's career. Huguette and Claude A. Simard join all of us at the Klinkhoff Gallery in expressing our gratitude to our customers and all who participated in this important exhibition.
