As with the previous drawing, we discover Bouchard’s confidence of line, one which with an economy of detail captures the essence of the composition and its components. The location along Rue St Patrick in Quebec City is today impossible to say with precision. Although it resembles very much the view looking down Rue Claire Fontaine, much of the nearby area has been reconfigured and changed over the last 50 years or so. A Rue St Simon is no longer found in Quebec City.
