This fine work captures the essence of the life of the great Canadian trapper. In his first career beginning in his youth, René Richard was living in Cold Lake, Alberta where he hunted, fished and trapped in season by canoe and by dog team and sled in another. To our knowledge there is not another artist of experience who in fact lived that life.4of 4
