Acquired from the above by a corporate collection, Montreal.
Located in what would be referred to as the financial district of Montreal, near the port, Rue St. Nicolas finds its origins in the 1730s (see https://www.vieux.montreal.qc.ca/inventaire/fiches/fiche_rue.php?id=58&sec=n)
Little has painted it with an atmosphere and temperament that is unique to his palette.
