The Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers 3rd World Championship was held in Fredericton in 1990 and was sponsored by McCain Frozen Foods. Although we cannot be absolutely certain, it is a reasonable hypothesis that Molly’s drawings for our Town Crier Competition dated 1991 are of that important international competition. The McCain families were enthusiasts of Molly & Bruno’s careers and did invite them to participate at various festive events, ones that inspired paintings by Molly shortly thereafter. -
