Morrice and Lyman in the Company of Matisse at the MNBAQ
Exhibition Curator, Michèle Grandbois, with Jonathan Klinkhoff and Craig Klinkhoff at last night's opening of the exhibition Morrice and Lyman in the Company of Matisse at the Musee des Beaux Arts du Quebec. The Lyman in the background, Swiss Essay No. 1, 1911 (with the train) belonged to Guido Molinari and was purchased by us from his estate.

Congratulations to the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (MNBAQ) for the exhibition "Morrice and Lyman in the Company of Matisse," which opened yesterday. To borrow eleven works by Matisse is no simple feat and to see alongside them more than fifty outstanding paintings by Morrice and so many by Lyman was a great privilege. This is a marvellous exhibition and it was a pleasure to celebrate the occasion with you.
